Office Cleaner

Contract: Permanent / Full-time / 40 hours per week

We're looking for a proactive, experienced Office Cleaner to take ownership of the cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of our large, busy office. You'll manage your own workload throughout the day, prioritising tasks sensibly and using your professional cleaning expertise to keep our workspace looking its best.

The Role

As our Office Cleaner, you'll take responsibility for maintaining a large and busy office environment to a consistently high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. You'll work independently, prioritising your workload according to urgency, health and safety considerations and business needs. This role suits a proactive individual with previous professional cleaning experience and strong knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, equipment and methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning across the office, including workspaces, reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets, communal areas, the workshop area and the onsite gym
• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the working day
• Prioritise cleaning tasks effectively, responding to urgent issues, health and safety risks and changing requirements as they arise
• Keep reception, meeting rooms and other client-facing areas clean, tidy and presentable
• Regularly clean and sanitise kitchens, toilets and other high-use areas
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors using appropriate methods for different floor types

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional cleaning experience, ideally within a large office, commercial or workplace environment
• Strong practical knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals, and which are suited to different surfaces and materials
• A demonstrable ability to assess and prioritise competing cleaning tasks
• Ability to recognise urgent health and safety issues and respond appropriately
• Strong time-management and organisational skills
