An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, multi-disciplined, driven, and experienced AV Service Engineer to join Hutchison Technologies. The successful candidate will take pride in supporting our customers and ensuring that we deliver a first-class service. This role is based in London and ideally the candidate will be located within a 30 minute commutable distance of Greater London.
Responsibilities
Attending client sites and resolving issues in a timely and neat manner
Communicating with clients

Using problem solving skills to find faults and consistently provide high standard solutions
Delivering end users training after installation of new devices
Accurately completing job reports, explaining steps taken, and getting sign-off by the client
Accurately completing other service records
Building relationships with clients
Identifying sales opportunities with existing clients and feeding back to our Sales team
Conducting and recording site surveys
Maintaining standards of technical excellence within the team
Working on building sites where required to help commission systems
Participating in various training and development
Requirements
A minimum of three-years’ experience working in an AV engineering role (wireless mic systems, basic mixers, zoned mixers, DSPs, limiters/compressors, amplifiers, public address systems, rack wiring, speakers (LowZ and 100v), TVs, HDMI solutions, projectors, interconnections, wiring, connector cable pin-outs)
Previous experience of using problem solving skills to find faults and provide high quality solutions
Able to read and understand AV system schematics and drawings
Able to terminate cables to industry standard
Understand PC based IP networks
ECS – Electrotechnical Certification Scheme or equivalent
Able to work under pressure to tight timescales
Flexible approach to working hours and ability to travel to sites within the UK and in Europe
Full UK Driving Licence
Passport holder
Knowledge of the below is desirable
Knowledge of RF / IPTV / HDMI components and distribution
Competent with Bose, Kramer, Martin audio, DMX lighting

Responsibilities
Liaising closely with project and technical support managers to oversee multiple teams of installation engineers on multi-site installations, ensuring project delivery expectations are achieved, providing daily status reports against plan.

Accountable for the quality and thorough execution of the onsite programme of works, providing support and engineering leadership to the local installation teams on each project.
